Very clean, nicely appointed rooms. Had all the things we needed. Hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner/soap, iron/board, frig/micro, wi-fi. Smelled fresh(I'm very picky with this)
Minor things... We had trouble getting onto the wif-fi. Had to go downstairs to get on. Room 404 I should have mentioned the fact that the toilet paper holder seemed to be broken when we left. It kept falling off.
I was Charged for 2 nights instead of 1. The staff refused to help me clear it up.
We loved the bed, food, the fact that it has an indoor pool and hot tub, location, free parking, the staff and the room. I also loved that some of the pillows were soft and others firm.
The hot tub was broken and the pool was too cool to enjoy. Our bodies were never able to get used to the water. It was cool outside, and it would have been nice to go for an enjoyable swim. I also felt the items you can buy at the front desk were way too expensive. 2 pints of ice cream-$10.
We took one last quick trip with our teenage sons before our life gets busy. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. The hotel is set off from distractions such as noise, for we have enough of our own! It is surrounded by other hotels with no mountain view... but we were not there to watch out the window the entire time. The rooms were clean and plenty large for all of us to have our space. The beds were perfect! We slept great! Breakfast was delicious over all. Well worth the money! Close to shopping, Biltmore and delicious restaurants.
The only thing that could use a bit of improvement was the quality of the scrambled eggs on the breakfast bar. Not the individual hotels fault, probably the type the full chain purchases. They were a bit tough. But if eggs are my only complaint... not worth judging a great hotel on it.
great beds, clean rooms, updated decor & furnishings.
better breakfast- eggs not much flavor
Breakfast is great
Heat/air unit in room did not work, staff did get us a box fan
Light from parking lot shone in window at night.
Location was very good but no views of the mountains. We were first given a room by the elevators and went to desk to get a different room. They then switched us to a quiet area. We were not able to tell them this when I booked.
It is an old hotel made over. The lighting in the bathroom was very poor and the ceiling low. The bed was placed about a foot from the wall making it difficult to get in/out of bed. Price was high supposedly due to fall season. The leaves did not have color but the room price was high.
Great price from Booked.net for an overnight stay for a wedding.
Room was clean a lot of slamming doors.
The kitchen was not being maintained. Food was cold nothing was being refilled. The person that was suppose to be doing was busy talking with friends and on her phone.
Loved getting coffee any time. Also happy it was a no-pet property.
Staff friendliness, location, and comfy beds.
Pool area was indoors and too hot inside to be enjoyed unless you were in the pool.
I liked that breakfast was served earlier than normal since my Dad mentioned to the lady setting it up that we were going to be leaving early for a 15k nearby. The staff was friendly and accommodated the price of the room being split. The rooms were very nice and clean.
The TV remote didn't work properly with the TV.
The breakfast was actually good.
Pool was nasty, beds were horribly uncomfortable, we killed 4 large bugs in the bedroom and the sink was dirty. Staff didn't care about the bugs. The staff seems very under trained. Also Booked.net lied about the size of beds and check in times.
The bath room and bed have the style of a more expensive hotel. Love the shower head and extra pillows. Your decorating for all the Fairfield Inns has always been impressive.
